If I'm healthy and pitch the way I'm capable of, I can't see why I can't do 15 (wins). If we're going to win, everybody has to play to their expectations and the expectations are to win more games when I'm on the mound.
I think it was a little bit easier to enjoy yourself and just focus more on getting better. If you're on a team that's expected to win you have to produce, and that's a whole lot different situation.
I think it's just getting to be an increasingly difficult thing to do in the day and age we're in now, ... More than anything else now, I think it's just the offensive explosion. It's so hard to stay in there and win games.
This probably hurts a little bit more now at this point in the year for us. We certainly needed to win this game. It's only making things harder for us.
Tomorrow will determine what kind of a trip we have. It's better to go home 6-1 than 5-2. We need to win series.
We're just off to a good start, and they're not. It's just one series in April. What will it mean in a month if we win two of three or lose two of three? It means more than beating Milwaukee over the weekend. But it's still one series.
That's what separates playoff teams from non-playoff teams. Too often we find ourselves in a game like we did tonight and we're not able to make the play. We play well enough to keep ourselves in the game but not well enough to win those games.
All I can do is keep trying to pitch and keep giving us chances to win, ... Sure it is frustrating when you try and go out there and win games and do not.
It's like, 'Which version of Atlanta is going to win this year?'
