I've been pretty good about keeping my nose to the grindstone. I feel like I won a lot of matches from hard work and persistence, even maybe when I had better options as far as shot-making.
I felt like I hit the ball pretty well, especially my forehand, which was the shot that essentially won me the match,
That was a good tournament because I won some matches. Even when I lost, I did things really well in patches, which is progress, which is all you can ask for.
If I would have won a match when I was 17, that would have been a great achievement. Now if I don't win the tournament, you guys are going to be writing stuff,
I didn't play that badly - plus eight in winners to errors - I looked and I won more total points. I think I would have beaten most people today, but credit where it's due - he played a very good match.
I didn't feel like it was a necessity because I had won tournaments earlier this year, ... but I felt it was a necessity to play well.
Anybody who has won three rounds obviously deserves to be there. He's obviously playing very confidently right now. Fourth round, you don't take anyone lightly, that's for sure.
