I say it's a reflection not just on me but the whole program. It's something the whole program should be proud of because not just one person can do it. You have to have the parents, the coaching staff, the students and the support from the community and I really think we are starting to get that.

When the BC job came open I was interested. I knew the program and its history of coaches from both as a player and a coach. I thought I could leave my mark here and I always felt BC could be more consistent in having its coach. BC was going through a cleansing period and I think I needed one, too.

It's nice to see where the program has come from when we started.

You have an individual people are going to enjoy being around. You have an individual who's going to communicate well. And if given enough time, he'll help get that program on a winning track.

Because I've been allowed to stay long enough, I think that's part of the reason that this has occurred, along with, obviously, having some very fine players who've worked their tails off to build this program and bring about stability in this program.
