We were our own worst enemy in that regard.

Time will tell. It should help our confidence. Next week we'll be playing a team we should be favored over (I-AA The Citadel). You expect your confidence level grows because we haven't had it lately. We haven't had it the last five years.

Every time Duke would grab the momentum, we would grab it right back with our offense.

At one time in that game, it was late, we had decided that we would put Lee in the game. We would give Drew (Weatherford) one more shot and he took them about 80 yards for a touchdown. So then we just stayed with him. We came that close.

I've never seen a quarterback beat us with a one-man show. The last time that happened to us was Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl--J.C. Watts. Watts did it in about 30 minutes. This guy did it the whole game.

It sure doesn't look like you'll see coaches stay at one place for a long time ever again. Administrators at some of the schools are getting jittery and at a drop of a hat will make a change. Times have changed so much that if you're not careful, it ain't as much fun anymore.

It's the first time in a long time,

It's been a long time (that none of the teams was in the Top 5 of the polls). It's probably almost 20 years. Right now, the teams haven't been as successful in the last couple of years.

For the first time in awhile, I thought the offense enabled us to win a ball game. They really came through for us today.
