We revised the technical documents last week at the Commission's request, responding to new feedback raised with us only six days before. The Commission has issued this statement regarding technical documentation we submitted last week, even though by its own admission neither it nor the (mediator in the case) has even read or reviewed these new documents.

We are putting our most valuable intellectual property on the table, so we can put technical compliance issues to rest and move forward with a serious discussion about the substance of this case.

The Windows source code is the ultimate documentation of Windows server technologies. With this step our goal is to resolve all questions about the sufficiency of our technical documentation.

While we are confident that we are presently in full compliance with the decision, we wish to dispel any notion that Microsoft's technical documents are insufficient.

These new documentation projects, together with free and unlimited technical support and access to Windows source code, will ensure that our competitors have all the assistance they need.
