Our role will be to make sure we have a seat at the table so that we can protect our authorities. We also need to protect equal access in all areas to that technology both rural and urban.

To have an effective monetary policy, you have to have a robust borrowing and lending cycle. The problem is that households and businesses are both overextended, while banks have problems with their current loan base. So we don't have a viable borrowing and lending cycle, which means that monetary policy is not working effectively.

We both come from academic backgrounds in the health field and had been working as researchers at the University of Edinburgh. We decided to come back to the States.

We had a really good meet. Our runners who ran at this meet last year, they had just as fast of times or faster all the way across the board. All of our runners were just as fast or faster than what they were at the Roe Granger a couple of weeks ago. Both teams showed considerable improvement.

We had a strong feeling about Jordan after meeting him last year at Road Atlanta. Obviously BMW feels he will be a top competitor and represent their brand well, as noted by their selection of him as a BMW Junior Driver for the 2006 season. As a team, it is our responsibility to help develop his skills to their fullest potential and put him in a position to excel both on and off the track.

I've got high hopes for Denver. Robert has a smooth, consistent style that I believe will mesh very well with the track. Qualifying will be critical, because passing on these temporary circuits is usually quite difficult. Electrical problems bit us during qualifying at Birmingham. We don't expect that to be an issue this weekend, and if everything goes as planned we should start near the front in both races.

It takes a lot to perform under pressure here. They've both been able to show they're capable of doing it.

The unequivocal backing from members of both unions for industrial action sends a clear message to the employers. University staff do not appreciate being lied to and today they have said that enough is enough.

The legacy of mistrust between blacks and whites is a substantial hurdle to overcome that should not be underestimated. Many members of both groups will be innately suspicious of attempts by an outsider to approach them, especially in the context of ministry.
