We knew that we had played a great team and competed with them toe-to-toe. But at the same time, it gave us a direction to go in our program. We knew too that we weren't the caliber team that they were.

We were a young team, ... I remember going out there, we were a young team and (the coaches) we were scared to death of just getting beat bad.

We have to go in there and be tough. Playing an IU team you have to be mentally tough. Those guys play really hard and they take pride in playing at home. We have to go in there and be tough, execute and value the ball.

When we play defense with that kind of energy, we're as good a team as I've ever seen.

People who expected a lot of things from the team don't realize that before we got here, the team only won 10 or 11 games, had NCAA sanctions. And people wanted national championship success right away. We knew it wasn't going to be like that. We knew it was going to be a long grind and a process. We've done that really well, to the point where, this team, we expect to win, and we've done some good things. It's been a great ride.

If you could sweep a team like that it would do wonders for our confidence.

The best thing is the team targets children with information on how to keep themselves safe. After teaching a class, instructors ask children to write them a note. This gives children a chance to tell someone what happened to them without it being public knowledge in the classroom in front of their peers. It also gives the team a chance to make sure the children received (the information) all right.

He's another tough guy who really guards, he helps us become a better defensive team and he knocks down open shots. That's one thing we're going to need when we go on the road against a team like Illinois.

We weren't strong enough, and they made savvy plays. Vincent is a great player, and the defense of their whole team was great.

It's going to be another tough game. They're another team that's probably as athletic as we are, and they have really good guards, too, so we'll have to come out ready to play.

Being a good free throw-shooting team has always been a point of emphasis for this program. We work on free throws in game situations as well. It is a big staple of this program.
