No one got hurt. They got to run up and down the floor and have some fun. The players enjoyed getting dressed up with the costumes. It was a good way to kick off practice and then get serious on what we need to do.
We talked about this being the team that beat us in the tournament at practice yesterday. Hopefully we got that bad game out of our system for the year in the second Kent State game.
We did not dwell on it. We're 80 percent in practice. I think last Saturday was just one of those games.
We've never made (playing on the road) a big deal, so it's never become an issue with the kids. There's no discussion about where we're playing. It's just a road game and we just go to practice and get ready to play.
You see the first five playing ... but the reason they're playing is the people in practice are pushing them hard. A lot of times it gets overlooked because all people see are points and rebounds on the stat sheet or in the newspaper. The practice players make us good.
