That being said, it was still a tough day. And I expect if the conditions stay a little breezy and sunny like this, we're going to see a firmer, faster golf course and a tougher course on the weekend.
Winning golf tournaments is what's important to me. If I said that, even though I've had a decent career and 10 wins, you would probably think I was pretty darn arrogant.
Adam is a competitor. He has climbed the ranks quickly over the last three years. The Philadelphia golf community is in for a real treat.
It was a good start to the year, good start to this week, and hopefully I'll keep it up. The course is in better shape now than I've ever seen it. I think they've done a wonderful job with the condition of the golf course.
It's the best field in golf played on a very demanding golf course. Nothing else needs to be said.
My only goal is to look back at the end of each year and see that I have improved.
There's going to be places where you can attack the golf course and there's going to be times where you've got to kind of bite your lip and play conservative and hit to certain spots on the green, get out of there with a par and move on.
