I got really good conditions (in the) morning. I don't think anybody got it any better than I did.
I was introduced to Jeff this morning. He's a good guy, and I enjoyed his company.
I actually had a pretty good run at the Western (Open),
He had a heck of a weekend. He's a good young player. He gutted it out today. The Masters was probably in the back of his mind, but the way he plays, I'm sure there will be a lot of Masters Tournaments in his future.
I respect his game and how hard he works, and it's good for a lot of people to emulate.
I had a lot of good putts on the back nine and misread quite a few.
There's times when you can get off to a start like that, look up on the board and see guys getting off to a good start. You want to go out and try to force things and try to make some birdies. I stayed patient and just let it happen.
It was nice to jump out and shoot good numbers.
It was a good start to the year, good start to this week, and hopefully I'll keep it up. The course is in better shape now than I've ever seen it. I think they've done a wonderful job with the condition of the golf course.
You want to finish on a strong note. So I was just trying to get it up there close, two-putt and get out with a 4 and have a pretty good day.
It's all about trying to put yourself in a good position. I could have played better, I could have played worse. I'm in good position for the weekend, and I need to go figure out how to get it around for the next 36 holes.
It's not a place where power is going to dominate. I think guys that are good from 100 yards and in can really do well here.
