We talked all week about how we kick field goals instead of scoring touchdowns and we came out and did the same thing.

The penalties were our fault and the turnovers were bad decisions. You've got to hold onto the ball. We had poor field position all day because of our own doing. Special teams were ragged all day on our return units.

When you turn the ball over for a touchdown, when you have a blocked field goal for a touchdown and an interception that directly led to a score -- we have to eliminate those mistakes. It is a shame because I thought we played well enough to win.

Turnovers hurt us in the first half, giving Seattle a short field to work with. Those are things we have to clean up, and we will.

The defense played well enough to win all day, except at the end. In this league you can't kick field goals and win.

At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

You can't kick field goals in this league and win games. It's just not going to happen.

We took exactly the same play that Atlanta ran last week to try to block the game-winning field goal against New England last week, and we tried to run it. They didn't call it last week against Atlanta.
