I look forward to joining the Miami Dolphins whenever I am released or a trade is completed. The Dolphins are an ascending team with great coaching and I can't wait to get started.

It is definitely in the back of all of our minds. You see the construction and people getting ready to have a mass of people come to Detroit. What better way to show off the city than having your own team there.

I think this becomes a confidence game more than anything, ... I'm not worried about making a statement to anybody but ourselves. This team is ready to get some confidence, and I think that's the best way to put it. I talked at the beginning of the season about getting a few breaks, making a few plays, getting on a roll, and this is a perfect week to start that, especially after we played Chicago, where we took one in the jaw. It's time to bounce back.

We've been in too many games where we have the lead and a chance to put them away and don't, especially against No. 4. It's just one game. But let's face it. This is the Packers. This is the team that has won the division as long as I can remember. I know we're all tired of losing those close ones and looking up and seeing green and yellow on top of the division.

We have been in too many of these games in the last couple years, where we had a chance to put a team away and didn't and too many of them have been against No. 4, ... I have one in mind from last year.

There have been times when the coaches didn't believe in me and times when the guys on the team didn't believe in me (but), I never lost faith in myself. I've been trying to get a job back.

This is still a young team and an impressionable team, so it has to be someone who is very strong in what they believe it. It has to be somebody who may force you do something, even though you may not like it.

I'm absolutely committed to helping this team win, and if it means that I've got to back up Jeff, then so be it, ... I'll be ready if, God forbid, anything happens. ... This is not going to be the end of me.

Everybody on this team should be playing for pride. Everybody on this team should be playing because they're professionals. If you can't get up for that and need the motivation to be the spoiler, so be it.

It's tough because there are times when I just want to rip someone's throat out, but I've taken the approach of trying to steadily build something. The thing is -- and I've been criticized for it -- I've tended to take the positive out of every situation. I've insisted on it. They've called me 'Joey Blue Skies' and said that I'm not seeing what's actually going on here. Well, I am seeing what's really going on here: We're a young team trying to build something, and when it starts to work -- not if, but when -- we'll be a great football team.

It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

I hope so. I know this team is sick at what happened the last time we played, and we are ready to go make it right.

I have to get the feeling I'm wanted, that's issue No. 1. I came here with a goal and a purpose to be part of a team that would be special to Detroit, one that people would look at and say, 'I'm glad to be here.' That hasn't happened yet.

It'll be fun again, ... That's part of football. That competition makes the team better.
