I don't know when's the last time Miami had a terrible season and looked terrible on the field. But that first half, that might have been a throwback to that time.

From last night, I know I've got a little bit of edge and I think our players will have a little bit of an edge, and I think that can be a good thing. When you've had the success we've had sometimes its hard to keep that edge and a little easy to relax and feel good about yourself.

I think so. They're very hungry. They're disappointed by that game. Any time you lose, a little like us last year losing to Virginia Tech, we had a little bit of a chip on our shoulder. And I could see that being the same way with LSU.

I think Kyle is really getting better. He got a lot of experience last year, but I think his timing is better and Todd Berry (quarterbacks coach) has done a great job in helping with his fundamentals of the game.

That's really the beauty of football. Just a few players make the difference. You look at Ohio State, they had 14 players drafted last year. Obviously they had some difference-makers on that team.

The last five years have been a good five years. But my concern is the next five years and to make sure we are going in the right direction. You cannot stay the same. We have to go in the right direction with the right staff.
