Golden Valley finds a way to win games. Our program from me down to the last player have to find a way to do that.
Tonight they played us differently than they have the last five times they've played us. They played a little small ball tonight. They had guys step up that haven't stepped up against us before.
You never want to give up on a league title, but this game was more for preparation if we move on in the playoffs. We dropped to No. 12 in the last power ratings, we can't afford to drop anymore games. When we get in the playoffs we're going to have to win games like this.
After we lost to Taft (Tuesday) we talked about winning at least two of the last three game. We were able to do that, but it wasn't the manner in which we wanted to do it. We didn't come away from these last few games with as much momentum as we could have.
It's hard to win on the road. This conference has always been that way. Our first conference game against Pitman, we struggled. We didn't play that well last week in Los Banos either.
