I was really pumped up for this game, because it's always a good game when we play against Sacred Heart. I knew I had to step up for us to get the victory.

As a starter, you're probably going to be logging a lot of minutes. I'm trying to remember what we did so well in that game, it was so long ago. I know we were doing a good job communicating. When you get this late in the season everybody is good. If they don't have a great record, then they know what it takes to win a tournament.

I'm so pleased. I knew I was in good shape to set a good time on this course but like all championships you never know. There might be five or six guys in great shape and you can't compete with that. They were pretty much the same play. On the first one, they left me to focus on Vince, and he did a good job of finding me. Vince, Richard, Jason (Kidd), they really command a lot of attention, and at that point of the game you're going to think that they're going to get the shot.

The motivation is easy. The other team is undefeated, and they have to be very good to get this far. When the game (against Thomasville) was over, our focus was on Southeast Halifax. We'll celebrate the other stuff when the season is over with.

It's always good to beat good teams, especially when they've beaten you earlier in the year. This victory improves us to 8-4 and will definitely boost our confidence as we prepare for Hazleton next week.

It's always a key to get off to a good start in a playoff game. This is an exciting time of year. You never know when the other team is going to bust it open. You want to show some confidence against who you're playing. It's so important to get off to a fast start, and it definitely felt good.

It's not a good feeling, but at the same time, our staff worked hard and we left nothing on the table. Unfortunately, the numbers, while strong, were not where they needed to be.

It's a good chance to start feeling a part of the College of Education, making them feel a connection.

There's always a comparison between the City League teams and the WPIAL teams. It's good to go out of the city and play big games like that. Then, to beat a team of that stature, it just gains respect for the city.
