We've dug ourselves a decent hole here and we're going to have to dig ourselves out. This is a game, if you're going to get serious about what you're going to do this season, (that) you've got to lay it all on the line there in the third quarter when we have a chance to win. I thought the guys rallied. We came out in the third quarter with a lot more intensity.

We were sleepwalking through 2 1/2 quarters. Then in the third quarter we became more aggressive. We had no focus and then for some reason the switch was flipped and we got back in it.

I'm happy that we played hard, but that should be a given. We need to learn from these experiences and make progress. We've had too many times this year when we've come out in the third quarter and haven't been as sharp. It happened again tonight. I can't fault anybody's effort. Our guys fought right to the end, but at this level, there are no moral victories. It's a game we should have won.

In the fourth quarter they turned it up right at the same time we started to turn the ball over. We kind of lost our poise out there and they ran away from us out there. That was it.

In the third quarter we got up on those guys and made them penetrate. We were there to take the charge. When things stopped going our way for just a couple of minutes, that all stopped as well. We became very tentative on both ends of the floor.

It was one of our best all-around efforts this season from beginning to end. The guys were in tune with the game plan. We came out in the third quarter a little bit off, but we quickly re-grouped.

That made it interesting. They came out in the third quarter and started getting after us, and we didn't handle that really well. But we were able to make our free throws and take care of the ball well enough to get the win.

We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.
