How will he react? Will he be focused to lead this team the right way to as many victories as we can get? Will he sulk for three weeks? My belief is that he'll be a focused assassin -- a focused basketball player to get the job done and lead this team to a good playoff position.

I thought to win on the road is a big deal in the NBA, the season opener, almost a brand new team for us, ... We're trying to learn how to play with each other. We're a very deep team, a very veteran team and I'm just trying to find the right combinations out there with guys who are playing well, so it is a terrific win. They had a chance to tie it with three shots at the end and the basketball gods were with us.

Today there was a collective effort. We are riding the momentum that we started three games ago. Caron did a really good job defensively. He is really embracing the role that we assigned him as the defensive captain, and we are just riding a wave right now.

Most importantly, I thought our offense let us down, and it hurt our defense. The Big Three have to understand we have to share the ball. We have to get equal opportunity, and we have to attack in a disciplined matter. We didn't do that. We were playing selfish basketball.

We dodged two or three bullets last night coming down the stretch with a gamble here or a gamble there or someone didn't box out, yet we got the rebound, ... We've been dodging bullets for three games and it finally caught up to us. We had a lead. We didn't need to gamble. You have to play good, solid defense.

We said there were three keys to victory. We wanted to defend Redd, we wanted to rebound and be physical.

That's when he hurts you. He can shoot the three off the pick and roll, which a lot of guys don't do. And then there's the occasional catch and shoot.

There's no sympathy in this league ... not for a team that came in here limping a little bit. They have taken their lumps on the road the last three games now, and it's a been a tough stretch for them.

There's no question that he's a special player for us, ... I can play him at forward or center and he switches out on guards on pick-and-rolls. I can play him after he sits there for three quarters and he does a great job. I can play him when I feel we need a more physical presence tonight, more defense. He does everything for us. He's important for us.

The Big Three got a little bit fatigued. We've got to get some more production off the bench, whether it's rebounds or steals or stops.

It was a collective effort, and we're just riding the momentum that we started three games ago. Everyone has responded from three games ago, and we're just riding the wave right now.

This was a relief. We left here almost three and a half weeks ago in the fifth spot with all of the trials and tribulations. We came back in the fifth spot so we are happy.
