I felt real good. In the second half, I really started feeling like myself again. I had a lot of confidence. I can say I was 100 percent, to tell you the truth.

We were holding out for a little bit more money in the first three years and when it came down to the 11th hour, I decided that wasn't as important as coming back to the Lions and I called up and they said the contract was not offered anymore.

I had been struggling with my golf swing, but even though I missed the cut at Doral, I felt like I was on the right track. I feel like I'm getting more and more comfortable. I definitely hit a lot of good shots. It was a nice, solid week.

They're getting better every game. I felt Max made big steps this past week, just his technique and focus and being able to play a whole half. I don't know if he had any mental mistakes.

I felt the difference in practice. He's tougher now and he's got a better attitude.
