Shuffling of batting order will depend on strategy and other conditions but the post-mortem of the Test series shows that we will have to play the key players in the positions suited to them.
We were confident that our batting was clicking and we could chase. The goal was to win the series 4-1 and we are learning constantly about the way we are chasing targets and I think the confidence was the key.
But this is a seven-match series and hopefully they would do so in the remaining games.
He has not bowled as yet. We are monitoring his progress closely and we will take a decision (on playing him) keeping in mind this series and the amount of cricket coming up.
He was the unsung hero in the one-day series against South Africa and Sri Lanka (in India late last year). Hopefully, he will enjoy the challenge here and bowl well.
Whatever the pitch we must ensure we play good cricket on all five days. It is an important series and we would like to do well.
He has strained his hamstring and we are worried about his availability for the home series against England.
Our goal was to win the series 4-1. We were confident of chasing a target and we have been good at doing that in recent times.
I think he did a great job as a captain in his first series and he's truly shown why is the greatest all-rounder in the world at the moment.
It is a great feeling, everyone has played well. The team had been under pressure at times in the series but we had people who pulled the team out.
We have the option of taking up the issue with the relevant authorities, but keeping the relevance and importance of the series we have decided to let the issue pass and put it to rest.
We played him in the middle order against South Africa with some success. We have a lot of options, but we will see as the series progresses.
We had great cricket in two last two series because of the quality of pitches. Unfortunately, the wickets in the first two Tests here have not lived up to the expectations of an India-Pakistan contest.
We would definitely want to win the match (for a 4-1 series score). We approach each game with the aim of winning it.
We know we have to play one good day to win the series and we have plans to meet the challenges of either chasing or setting the targets for the opposition.
Every series is a challenge. We have prepared ourselves the best we can. We want to enjoy our cricket.
We will like a few more runs in the top order. In the first two games we could have got a few more runs but it is a seven-match series and we hope to correct that.
We clearly have to raise our fielding standards. It was disappointing. Our bowlers also have to learn to bowl under pressure. The mood is down in the camp now but every series is a new series and we will try to learn from our mistakes.
The one-day series is a chance for us to make amends for our disappointing performance in the final test.
Both teams know the importance of the series and I am sure the players are aware of their responsibilities.
England had shown in the Ashes series against Australia that if you play five bowlers, you can win some very good matches.
The way we've won this series is heartening.
Hopefully, we will carry forward the confidence of this series against England after a few days off.
